Any help is appreciated. I have a 2006 Suzuki 115DF Four Stroke and last year as I was placing the boat/motor in the water and went to start the engine a loud rumbling noise was coming from the exhaust area. I took the motor to my mechanic and he stated he couldn't find any issues but heard the loud noise. I have been told it could possibly be an exhaust leak or a exhaust plug fell out?? Has anyone experienced this issue??

On the back of the engine nest to the tell tail water, there is a rubber insert that fall out occasionally, with this missing the exhaust in much nosier than normal.
Part only cost a couple of bucks. -

It called PIPE, EXHAUST, it can be found on the web site under oil pan parts for your year and model.Comment
