My local Suzuki mechanic recommended 10 minutes on the muffs and followed by 10 minutes on the flush attachment (engine not running in the latter, of course).
He also mentioned that one client uses warm water on the flushing port for 15 minites after every salt water trip and his engine anodes are sparkly clean after 200 hours.
