Guys, I hope somebody out there can help me. I recently came into possession of a DT5. I decided to breathe some life into this machine as it had good compression and after some work on resetting the points etc it is almost ready to go. The only part I need now is a starter pinion, unfortunately after looking around I picked up one but noticed when I tried to fit same that there are some subtle differences ie internal bore sizes and set heights. If any one could direct me to where I might pick one of these up I would be grateful. You will also notice the earlier model has the bigger retaining clip.
