Working on DF115 11501-683251 2006? Trying to replace engine holder set after exhaust burn out. Superseded part 51110-90821-0EP has blind hole pockets for the upper engine mount cushions instead of the through holes and sealed cavity in oil pan for the studs that go through the cushions and get lock nutted to plate. New engine holder looks like it would work with engine mount cushions with studs molded in or do we have the wrong engine holder?

DF115 engine holder set
It is impossible to fit the existing engine mount cushions and studs into the new engine holder. If you view the parts diagram you can see that the studs that go through the cushions are long and go through to the oil pan into a separate cavity that does not exist with the superseded part. They have an anti rotation plate, lock nuts, washers, and a dampener that sit under a sealed plate to keep the oil out of this cavity so it does not leak oil out the engine mount cushions. I looked up the diagrams to the newest one on the list of DF115's (2010) and they all share the same mounting system with the "stud lock cavity". The only solutions to use the new holder is to have cushions that have studs encapsulated into the cushions or to have bolts from the back of the cushions that have knurling's that offer enough friction to stop rotation of the hardware during assembly.
