DF250 Flushing

Have a 04' 250 with flushing port. Can I use this to thoroughly flush the engine after use with the engine running. Bought it used so no owners manual and PDF repair manual does not cover it.

To run engine need to use flusher attached to water inlet screens on lower unit, not to be run with flush port attachment.
