SMIS on 2007 DF200

I have the SMIS on my DF200,from day one I have never been able to get the correct fuel usage info(always reads way higher) I have done tons of searches for info on this and came to the conclusion that I may have one of the mystery 2007's. I have read that Suzuki did some software changes in 07,my local dealer has never dealt with the SMIS gauges and is of no use to me.Can someone tell me what serial numbers started the change? What do I have to do to get it up and running?
