No lights on 34200-93J00 diagnostic rev counter.
Just wired in a 34200-93J00 diagnostic rev counter but no lamps are showing once ignition it turned on, the rev counter is working fine. In-fact the rev counter works fine without the 4 pin plug connected. The instrument is hooked up to a DF50 4 stroke.
I have already tried to short the temp sensor to see if an error is shown on the instrument but to no avail.
Wiring as described:
Grey and red with green stripe wires from instrument to grey wire on remote
2 x black wires from instrument to black wire on remote
yellow wire on instrument to yellow wire on remote
4 pin plug from engine to instrument
Has anyone got any idea why the lamps are not illuminated once the ignition key is turned? I have spent hours on this now and need to use it to diagnose the other problem I have with the engine. Many thanks in advance for your help.
