87 DT20 water won't flow

After taking apart the impeller housing all that was left was the ring on the shaft.
Replace the impeller and cleaned out close by passages but still water will not flow

Where else can the remains of the impeller be clogging things up?

Run it with motor in water to test water pump, not on flusher attachments.
