I just purchased a 1972 sea ray. the boats in good shape. It has a DT 150 super six attached to it. Its giving me trouble starting. Initially it was the solenoid in the starting valve not actuating. After replacing it with another used solenoid the pin will not seat. Resulting in flooding of the carburetor. Is there an upgrade or a retrofit for this system? I know the starter valves for '87 on up have a different system. The engine runs great once I can get it started.
