Have just been told that my computer is toast. Any ideas on where to get a good price on one. The dealer will come down to 1400 from 1700. And what if this does not do the trick. Looking for any insight. The engine just stopped after running offshore 26 miles. Ran fine going out. Would not start when we got ready to leave. Thanks!

you need to trouble shoot your motor, throwing $1,400 parts at it without knowing it will fix it is a sure way to an empty wallet, and bag of new, used parts.
