I have a dt85 Suzuki that idles ok but as soon as you open the throttle the motor die's , but still idles rough . I removed the spark plug lead off no.1 and no change to motor sound or idle,did them same to no.2 and 3 and you notice a distinct change..called mechanic and after fidelling with the idle screws on carbie's he reckons its the CDI ??? no.1 plug when I removed has plenty of spark
is the mechanic right ?? I reckon that no1 carbie is clogged,mind you don't know a lot about motors but don't want to waste money
