I have a DF225 with a little more than 300 hrs on her. I just had a full service done this past spring. When the engine has been run, and I am idling in or running slightly above idle, there is a noise like a canary singing coming from under the engine hood.. What could it possibly be ?

first thing to do is remove the top and try to find where the noise is coming from, if it has only just be repaired, take it back to whoever did it.

I'd think something was hitting a spinning part, maybe the flywheel. As was mentioned, I'd be taking it back to whoever serviced it and get them to find out what they did. I assume you checked to make sure it has oil?
