2013 suzuki oil filter
Found it. Oil drain plug side beneath the lower cowling piece. Easy to get at and change. Very pleased with the engine. Pushes my 13 foot smoker craft Alaskan dlx to 21 mph and is very economical and quiet. Highly recommend this engine. Thanks Suzuki. -

lower cowling removal
Take off top cowling, then remove small silver bolts in lower cowling on drain plug side and remove 2 at rear of engine on opposite side. If cowling is hard to separate u have missed a bolt somewhere. Pull gently the fuel filter off support pins and elevate out of way then remove 3 bolts on round oil filter housing after draining crankcase oil. Easy 2 do and save some money on what dealer would charge to do it. 1 forum said 80 bucks?Comment
