DF90 Tilt /Trim Issues

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.....
I have a 2008 DF90 on a Delta Marsh boat.
With the key off, I have full function of the tilt/trim from the throttle and the motor switch. When I turn the key on, I have no tilt/trim at all. If the motor is trimmed up with the key off, and then I turn the key on the motor trims to the down position? Help please !

You've got a short from the ignition power supply to the trim. Sounds like it could be in your throttle handle. Look for some worn wires with the metal showing.

The dealer told me to take all wires off the battery except the main positive and neg to the motor. He said the trim on the motor should still work....it does not. When I remove the "white" power wire nothing works at all. The dealer keeps saying I have a bad harness, but I'm not sure about that.

Yes it sounds like a short some where in the wiring. Finding it will be the problem.
