I just bought a used boat with a Suzuki 4 stroke 140 HP motor on it (it is still at the dealer) and the serial number the dealer wrote down isn't making sense to me.
They said it is a 2006-2007 motor, but the info I have been able to find doesn't match up with the number provided.
The number I have is: 14001142401
Can anyone provide some guidance as to what it is I have? I will be looking to secure manuals, advice, parts, etc. once I know what it is.

EDIT: just noticed I put "150" in the title...Fixed it...
