Here is a roughly 3 minute video of my 1986 DT200 idling on muffs.
I think it mostly sounds ok, although I would like to raise the idle a tad.
At about 1:30 or so, I get up in the boat and look down the carb throat. The tubes you can see there, are those the high-speed jets? I find it curious that the top set of jets is pulsating fuel, while the other two sets are not. Is this normal? You can also see that the fuel is starting to pool and eventually run down the front plate. This doesn't seem good to me, but what the heck do I know?
I have pulled these carbs at least twice in the last month and given them a very thorough scrubbing and blowing with the air compressor.
Thoughts? Do you know the procedure to raise the idle on this motor?
Thanks!
Chris
