My stepson just bought a new skiff with a new 140. The motor ran fine the first time out. The second time after about 2 hours of run time the check engine light comes on and then he got the audible beeps. He carried the boat to the dealer and they can't figure out what the problem is. They said it may be a problem with 2013 motors due to a redesign. They have someone coming in a few days to try and resolve the problem. I looked back to see if there was anything posted about any ongoing problem with these motors and didn"t see anything. Just trying to see if there is any.
