A 1999 DT115 uses 10mm bolts for the gearcase to drive shaft housing. The manual states torque to 36 to 43.5 ft-lbs. I think its a miss print and too much for a ss 10mm bolt. In the beginning section of the manual, it states to torque gearcase bolts to 24.5 to 29.5 ft-lbs, which matches their chart for general torque specifications listed by bolt size and type.
Does anyone know? If not, I'm going with the lessor. Much thanks, Jim
