I have a 99 DF 70 that I bought a year (been rebuilt). I ran it all last summer. Decided to change oil this year. Checked the oil and it showed to be way over full on the dipstick. Drained oil and got about a gallon out. Replaced filter and added 3 quarts of oil, fan it a bit checked oil and shows to be over mark on the dipstick.
The manual shows 5.2 quarts with a oil filter. My thoughts are maybe it has the wrong dipstick. What should the dipstick length be? Anybody got any other thoughts?
