oil filter change

How do You change the oil filter on a 2013 DF15AES Suzuki?
The owner's manual says that a dealer must change the filter
and provides no information on "how to" or location. Oil change is
explained but not the filter.

It's on side of engine block and just unscrews from block.

But as usual I'm still a little confused on the filter change.
If You go to "Suzuki Outboard Parts" on the bottom of Your reply,
and look at the oil pump it shows a filter that is recessed into the block with three bolts holding the filter cover on.
Does both sides of the lower cowl have to come off or just one?
And is there anyway to prevent oil spillage when You take the filter element out?
And why does Suzuki say it has to be done by a dealer? Does it void the warranty if I change the filter?
