DF9.9 change to 15 carb

Ordered new 2008 Suzuki DF15 hp carburetor for my DF9.9 and the choke (starter assembly)on 9.9 motor is an electric one and the choke on the new 15 carb is a vacuum choke and they are not interchangeable. It looks like the top plate for the choke assembly on my 9.9 carb looks like it will mount on the df15 carb so I can use the electric choke on the new carb. Can this be done or do I need to run a vacuum line to the 15hp carb? Thank you

Why didnt you order the correct part? would have made life easier.
