DF 140 steering bracket snap ring?
Hi,
I had a snap ring pop off the steering bracket after a repair to the swivel bracket. I assume, they had to take apart the steering bracket (among other things) to install a new swivel bracket.
I contacted the shop that did the repair, and the owner recommended the sage advice, "can you zip tie it on it..."
Here are some pics, my question is does the snap ring go behind the splines at the endof the steering bracket or on the splines? Also, let's say you take the snap ring off, would the steering bracket recess up into the swivel bracket, so you could not put it back on, unless you took it all apart again?
Anyone have a pic of their snap ring on their steering bracket?
