When trying to crank the motor all I get is the buzzer. There seems to be no power to the motor itself. What is the proper wire to check at the ignition and how to proceed all the way back?

I think your problem coming from Battery voltage, try to check it

Hook a volt meter up to the battery and turn the key to the start position and read the meter if it drops right down you might only have a flat battery or bad connection. You must have battery supply to your engine and to your console other wise when you turned the key on you there would be no buzzer. If the meter does not change when you turn the key to start then start looking else where. Look back about four or five pages and you will see a similar problem and I have shown the member the wiring colours and how to find the problem.
