DF70 Fuel Problem

The engine was running fine until I put some fuel in the tank from a plastic Gerry Can I had in the boat for about 10 months. Starts fine, motors from the berth to the mouth off the harbour fine, when I give it a bit of power the engine dies.... its still running but cant put on any power.. its like its not getting fuel....Could this be a dirty fuel or water in the fuel problem??

Fuel has most likely gone off. Suggest you do not run motor agaim until you drain it out, clean all filters, and replace with fresh fuel.
