2009 df90

I just purchased a boat with a 2009 DF90 on it. The motor has less than 50 hrs on it. I took it out today for a run in the river. The RMP was very erratic. It would surge from 4000 to 6000. I changed the fuel filter. Put it back in the water....It would sometime run at WOT 6000 rpm for as long as I wanted to. When I would slowdown and idle, it was very rough. Start to go again, WOT @4500rpm.....them it would jump to 6000. Any ideas ?? Thanks

Check your VST

Check your VST .. There is a fuel filter screen..
