My Suzuki 08 DF225 motor trim indication doesn't work until about 45 min on the water. During that 45 min I'm trimming the motor up and down as necessary but with no indication on the gauge. Then after about 45 min it will starting indicating on the gauge. It's a Suzuki gauge. Any one have any ideas of my problem??????

There is a sending unit on steering tube..and it is adjustable... -
Mine did the same thing. I sprayed the sending unit down with CRC 656 and it worked like new.Comment

Today with my boat out of the water on a dry work rack. I trimmed the motor all the way up. Then I could see the arm of the sender for the trim indication. I worked the arm up and down a bunch of times and so far so good with the indication. Hopefully I won't have to replace it!!!!!Comment
