I own a 2002 Suzuki DF140.
I have recently purchased this battery maintainer:

My boat has a perko switch that disconnects all electronics except for the outboard when off. Is it safe to have the outboard connected while using this maintainer or is it possible I may fry some electronics? For now I"m disconnecting the outboard while maintaining, but it would be nice to not worry about.
