engine oil

Hi Folks first post,
Just bought a second hand DT 2.2 hp outboard,can anyone tell me how immpotant the choice of engine oil is and what is the best.Also the mixture Manufacturer recommends 100 to 1 but I see on here that some people recommend 50to1 which is correct.
Thanks for any help it will be appreciated.I am in the UK if that makes any difference to whats available

Need oil that TCW-3 certified and 100:1 ratio is correct mixture.
