DF 90 Fuel Pump

New to the site. There is wealth of knowledge on this site. I had a problem with fuel in the crankcase on a 2002 DF90. I replaced the low pressure pump with a new Suzuki pump, had the injectors cleaned but still having problems with fuel (1 - 2 quarts) in the crankcase. How should I test the fuel pump to determine if I take the pump back.

Unbolt pump from engine, pump fuel primer bulb and see if gas is leaking out back of fuel pump.
