Cooking batteries. Rec/reg output 14.7 volts with spare rec/reg, 14.9 with original. Is there anything else in the system that controls this elevated voltage? I've tried multiple batteries with the same results. G
14.7 volts is not abnormaly high. The regulator should be the only source for battery charge regulation. Just make sure all the connections are good and tight.
