DF9.9A throttle sticks

My problem is after a few minutes of running at open throttle it will not return to idle. It seems to stick. After shutting down the idle is fine until I repeat the run at open throttle. thanks cruise27

Need to take throttle linkage off clean and grease joints.

DF9.9A Throttle sticks

Happens every year at end of season to me.
Solution:

remove Throttle control lever and throttle drum, sand and lube cast aluminum shaft.
sand and lube plastic throttle lever.
I used never sieze last year, still stuck at end of season. trying superlube this year.
Be careful removing, can break. soak 2with PB bLaster first and move gently and gradually. Guess how I know. $7 part.
Good luck. By the way you have to remove the side casing to get at it. Starboard.
