1983 DT85 timing

I have an 83 DT85 that I need to time. Does anyone have the timing specs? I recently acquired the motor and while trying to get it to run smoothly due to a sputter, I found at idle it was set 10 degrees retarded. Out of curiosity, I adjusted it to TDC and it smoothed right out. Any input would be appreciated

I don't have a manual on a 1983 but probably was about 7 ATDC at idle.
