40 hp suzuki

I have a 15 ft key west with a 40 hp suzuki. The numbers on the bracket are 04003 463318. Can anyone tell me the details of this engine i.e. year. I had once found it on brownspoint.com website, but they have gone out of business after hurricane Sandy. I believe its an 84 dt40 c ve, but not sure.
