I just received my new Suzuki DF2.5 outboard. I overfilled the oil and wanted to drain some off but can not determine what is the drain plug. I loosened a couple of bolts that the manual showed might be a drain plug but they were enging bolts. I did notice that there was what appears to be a phillips head screw sort of buried under the oil fill. I tried to remove it but it is very tight. I can't tell where the oil drain is from the manual. Can I get some direction as to where the drain plug is located.

It's on bottom of engine cowling by where tiller handle pivots.

Here's a fantastic pictorial thread on "how to" for the DF300.
