I have a boat with twin 2000 DT 200s. The port engine is toast. I've found a good deal on a another 2000 DT 200 that was used on a single engine boat. My question is how can I tell which engine on my boat counter rotates and if it's possible to make this engine work if the port engine is the one with counter rotation on my boat? Need help quick. Thanks Jim.

Look at the props to see which one would be left hand screw. -

Thanks for the reply. The motor I was looking to buy to replace the bad engine has feel through. If anyone knows where there is a deccent 98-01 DT200 for sale let me know. May end up buying twin whatevers. I just don't have a huge pile of cash laying around but if anyone knows of a good deal let me know. Also I live in the Virgin Islands so shipping is killing me as well but I have to do something soon. Thanks!!!Comment
