I just bought a new boat with DF300AP's
Am I going to like the new ones as much as I liked my 09's
Also does anyone know the part numbers for the new trolling mode kit?
Also price and please explain exactly what it does and is it necessary?

Yes you will like it as much as the 09. If already have the SMIS gauges then could add the troll mode, but unless you do a lot of trolling wouldn't be any big advantage, can just set throttle at speed you want.

[, I have a 2012 DF300 AP and love it, We replaced a 2005 Mercury EFI 250hp. on 24 Pro-line. The motor works great. I use the trolling switch which increases RPM by 50 each click, cost was approx. 85.00. It was installed at the time of the repower.
