smokey DT9.9 1996

Hello everyone,

i`m trying to get a Suzuki DT9.9 run fine,but it seems that there is a lot of oil being burned when the engine is running in idle.
is there a possibillity of a broken oilpump on this engine?

Usually a broken oil pump will pump no oil. What makes you think burning too much oil?
