I believe that is the correct terms. I just pulled my lower unit to change the impeller. Before I knew about the access hole, I lowered the lower unit which shifted the the drive into forward, I then unbent the cotter pin and pulled the connecting pin which allowed me to remove the lower unit. I did my work, yada yada. When I reattach everything, the lower unit slips in one direction. I have tried pulling the shift lever into forward, reverse, neutral. Then reattaching the lower unit. I can not for the life of me figure it out.
