Push Button Tilt?

I backed up today and the scag of my 2005 250hp suzuki hit the drive way... no damage but now the push button on the motor will not operate the tilt for the motor... the button on the throttle does work.... what happen and how can I fix it....

There must be a loose wire or connection. Both trim controls go to that same location.

mine went out...

My switch on the motor went out, would only go up. I replaced it no biggie. However it did work at the console. I tested it by unplugging it at the motor and using a jumper wire. It would go up and down. I determined that it was a switch. Try a jumper, easy money.
