Do 2-stroke outboard engines chare your batteries for use of downriggers

This may sound a little ignorant but i was wondering if my 1994 150 2-stroke suzuki will charge my batteries for my electric downriggers.

Yes, as long as all your charging components are in good working condition.

My 2003 -225 will not put out 14v until about 1000 rpm...so if you are spinning at dead in-gear idle you might not charge your stuff
