:( Bought a new boat won't start cold 03 DTI 150

I Just bought this boat and its really tough to start cold. When you crank it theres not a sputter. Its an 2003 DTI 150 2.7 with efi. When i can get it started it runs great but shut it off and it may or may not start. At first I thought it was fuel bulb or line problem after I changed it it started great all day. Now the boat has sat for two days and I couldnt get it started. After much cranking it finally started but shut it off and back to not wanting to start even after it just ran. There is fuel all the way to the little filter.

I did just fill the tank after I bought it so I was thinking low octane or ethanol issues but normally those issues wont let the motor run good. Motor runs good if you can get it to fire. I'm afraid someone sold me their problem I paid alot for it too.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

let me add I discovered if I spray starting fluid in the throttle body she fires up its like no fuel is getting in there when starting

Have you tried with the fast warm up lever 1/3 to 1/2 way up and push the key in to activate the choke solenoids? Can you hear the choke clicking if you just push the key in without turning the motor over? I always had trouble starting my old motor until I got the starting method correct
