Suzuki DF300AP Wiring

Hi, (Suzuki 2012 DF300AP) at the engine end of the main wiring harness there is 2 black & white terminals one has a resistor and the other is blanked off, on the BCM there is the same one with a resistor and one has battery cables attached to the house battery, is there a cable missing from the back? the reason I ask is that the fuel pump, smis gauges etc.. do not initialise until the back blanked off terminal is earthed. There is no sign of it on the wiring diagram!

Engine has a battery isolator connector and sub battery connector, the isolator is optional but does need the sub battery lead connected to battery.

so does it need a second sub battery lead as I thought the one connected from the bcm to the house battery was all that it needed?
