DT 115 Intermittent water spout

Have a DT 11502 ser 201648

The water spout only works intermittently, sometimes it will go for trips working fine, then on occasions it stops and sometimes the overheat alarm goes off.

Have replaced the impeller and it still intermittently fails.

Any ideas of what the problem could be.

Probably need to start with a new water pump.

I'm having the same problem and I've replaced the water pump and Thermostat. Needing help?????

Simonse, rather than dredge up something that old, just tell us what motor, and year it is. Then tell us what is going on (it also helps if you can relate to it with rpms, does the motor overheat above 2k rpms, but not under 2k rpms?). Then tell us what you've done to try and correct the problem.

It might be the sub-water pickup causing your problems?
