  • DT100 dies when put in gear

The upper carburetor cylinders do not seem to be firing. New plugs are clean and wet. Bottom new plugs are blackish carbon. Maybe the top plugs are working and the bottom is my problem.
I do have spark at all cylinders. Carburetors have been removed and cleaned. No sign of build up. I use stabil and it appears to work.
I am confused and out of ideas.

Complete a compression test and post your results.

All cylinders were within 2 pounds of 120.
The more I think about the problem my problem still has to be carburetor related. The top plugs don't look like they have fired at all and have only oil on them. No discoloration at all. The bottom plugs have fired as they are a little black.
I need to take another look at the upper carb. I may still have a restriction even after I disassembled and cleaned the carbs.
Do the reed valves have something to do with this?
      Thanks
