idle problems
Hello i'm from south africa and bought a boat with a 200 dt suzuki,i think its a "87 model, i had a problem that i had load on the engin it would die on me,it emmediatly started again. It does this only sometimes,so i bought a new tps and fitted it,but problem was there.now i've got a new problem ontop of the other one,it starts and idle high.i"ve had to a suzuki expert but they cannot fix the problem.can anybody please help me as i refuse to give up.thanks

Check your fuel pressure and fuel supply to the motor. Also make sure your TPS is adjusted properly. Check all your sensor, expecially the fuel sensors (like: Idle air valve, map, air temp, etc) -
thankyou for the reply,can you perhaps tell me where i can find those sensors.i know where the tps is cause i replaced it with a new one[can a new one be defective]Comment
