Finally had the courage to tackle removal of steel plug. Over a period of sevral days I applied Krol and Freeze and Release. I first used a dremmel tool with wire brush and removed around head of steel plug, I applied the Freez and Release to the allen head of the plug and usea a head gun and applied head arouund the plug directly on the engine holder. The Freeez and release chills to around -45 F and header with heat gun to 300 F. I did this several time and applied Krol each time. Only uused 3/8" breaking bar to remove plug. Plug threads appeared to be coated with lock tight.
Cleaned internal threads in engine holder and used removed steel plug with anti seize to chase threads. No sign of internal corrosion or thread damage.
End of steel plug was rusted off and and covered with rust scales.
Will now move to the port engine.
