I recently imported a new df300ap and was supplied part #36620-93J62 for the main wiring harness but it doesn't connect to the bcm 1 harness, is there an adapter missing to connect the square end on bcm to the round on main or is it the wrong harness?? thanks

The DF300 requires a different harness. Harness number 36620-98J10 is 31' long, 36620-98J00 21'. -
Thanks, I also forgot to ask can I ativate the ptt switch on the motor before I get the new harness because the boat sits very low on trailer a need to tilt up.Comment

There should be another switch on the motor that will work with out the harness.Comment

I tried connecting the battery leads but nothing happens? The motor is brand new and has not had anything done to it yet in the way of pre-delivery only mounted on the boat.Comment

If the motor is new and still under warranty you should take to a Suzuki dealer and have them inspect.Comment
