2008 Suzuki DF15 - Coughing / Sneezing

I have a 2008 DF15 4 stroke which starts ok at half choke and runs ok at half throttle during warm up. When choke is taken off it continues to run well at half throttle. When throttle is slowly let off, it begins to cough and sneeze as though it is starving for air and quickly dies. It will start again easily, and will run well at half throttle but seems to struggle (bog) when rev'd any higher than half throttle...and coughs and sneezes when throttle is let off and quickly dies. I was told it was likely the carb so I took it to the shop who takes care of my big boat (Yamaha). Although they do not normally work on Suzuki's he agreed to clean out the carb, blow it out and said it looked ok. He said it would run better, but not perfect until I put new plugs in it (he didnt have my model plugs). I brought it home, changed the plugs and it is no different than before I brought it. Any ideas? I really need help...

Coughing and sneezing usual indication of running lean check for vacuum leaks, filters does bulb pump up ok still could be carb blocked
