  • Map sensor error

I'm having map sensor issues on one of my engines and the result is rough or stall when idling. I tried switching the sensors between the two engines and the problem remains with my starboard engine. The code at the helm is 2 beeps followed by 3 beeps. The computer returns a map sensor issue.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated

    Check wiring to sensor.

I'm pretty sure I eliminated that. I also switched the Air Temp sensors and it did not improve. I'm just wondering what could cause the manifold air pressure to go awry.

      Thanks

          Thanks

I will not have a chance to do that until November as the boat is in Florida and I am in Canada.

            Same issue

            Hello,

My name is Chris and this is my first post. I am having the same issue with my 05 DF140. It has a rough idle after getting warm. It is throwing 1 beep followed by 3 beeps. If I am correct is this a Map sensor error as well. I looked at my owners manual and I believe that is the code it is throwing. Any help will be much appreciated.

            Chris
