Hi. New to the forum here. I acquired a 2003 DF115 that is not in running condition. I've done a compression test and got approx 225 on each cylinder, is that ok?
I've been visually inspecting things for any obvious signs of damage. The ECU (ECM?) seems to have porcelain shards that have bubbled up through the potting ( I can pick them out with my finger ). It looks like something may have sort of shattered inside the unit. There is also what appears to be a spot on the hard case which appears melted/burned.
Is there a recall on these? What may have caused this to occur? I'd hate to replace it only to have it happen again due to some error I could make.
I did order a service manual, but it hasn't arrived yet.
